Project Title: Podcast, Sales & Marketing Project for Training Company
Project Description:We are looking for a postgraduate to help with the marketing and sales of a Nottingham based training company. The company focuses on teaching large law and accounting firms about selling and business development. This includes helping clients to network and build high level relationships. Clients include large law and accounting firms, HSBC Bank, GE, British Chamber of Commerce and the Academy of Chief Executives.

The owner of the company is the host of a business orientated podcast, which features guests from various companies. The successful candidate will aide in the producing of these podcasts, including the sourcing and organisation of guests and the editing of the final interviews.

The companies also has to sell their training to these large law and accounting firms. That means marketing and selling to key decision makers. We heavily use Linkedin, email lists, website content, social media, phone calls and book send-outs to reach these people. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating these activities.

Key Areas of Work & Outcomes of Placement:
  • Targeting of key prospects in top 100 UK law and accounting firms
  • Management of database in our CRM system and intel gathering on each prospect
  • Generation of meetings and sales opportunities from our target list
Skills Required:
  • Social media skills to use LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook top create book selling opportunities
  • Research skills to search for valuable background information on key prospects and companies so we can approach them in a personal way
  • Sales & marketing skills to manage a sales pipeline of prospects, targets and introducers on our CRM system and to generate interest, meetings and responses with targeted marketing campaigns
  • Writing & editing skills to create blogs, checklists and other lead magnets to attract and add value to our target prospects
Successful Candidates will have the opportunity to develop the following skills:
  • Writing skills to craft marketing campaigns, proposals, offers and valuable content that will interest our sales targets (training will be given)
  • Technology skills to learn new apps, technologies and programs (training will be given)
  • Sales and marketing skills to learn different ways to sell using email, phone, social media and events (training will be given)
  • Self-management skills to develop productivity habits and discipline to keep track of all projects and campaigns (training will be given)
  • Phone skills to handle phone conversations to approach podcast guests, uncover sales and pitching opportunities (training will be given)

*Hourly rate is 9.19 pounds plus 1.11 pounds holiday pay

Salary:£10.30ph* for 200hrs
